We hired a licensed agency for Home Care for my mother with dementia. 3 months and thousands of $ later the FINALLY tell us the agency does not meet a criteria.

So we interview other agencies but are not going to fall for their stupid trick again - we want to make certain the agency is APPROVED BEFORE we hire and pay them and they 'ARE NOT ABLE TO DO IT". Let me guess - they will take another 3 months, 13,000$ later and we may get an answer? NO We are demanding to know if the agency meets their criteria before.

We were stupid enough to purchase their policy and pay for it for over 20 years.... we are going to make them actually work or something.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $13000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Exactly what we are facing now. 4 months ago, I began a claim and have been paying out of pocket for 5 hours of in home care every day to the tune of 12,000.

After two months of them claiming they donโ€™t have the doctors records, I went and got them myself and provided it for them in one day. One month later, still no communication of any kind, no answered, no phone calls or emails, no snail mail.

Still no decision on our claim and they still will not tell me if my licensed in home care provider is approved. Awful for my 86 year old parents who have been paying premiums for 20 years.
